I was looking for a desk and media stand to go with an existing bookshelf for my home office. I scheduled an appointment to review options that would complement the bookshelf. Stephanie had prepared several furniture styles for me to review and patiently answered all my questions. Once I chose the style, we reviewed the different options available for those particular pieces, chose the wood, hardware and finalized the order. I am looking forward to receiving my new furniture and would definitely recommend The Amish Craftsman for anyone looking for high quality, solid wood furniture.

We were looking into buying furniture for our new home and we knew we wanted good quality furniture. A Google search led us to The Amish Craftsman. Drove there after work on a Wednesday an hour before closing and got helped by Sandra. I loved what I saw that day and loved the help provided by Sandra so we set an appointment for that coming Saturday. We placed the order for our dining set that Saturday. We expressed interest in sofas as well and that’s when Sandra informed us that they would be carrying a new line of sofas by Smith Brothers of Berne; all we had to do was wait two or three weeks and we’d be able to place an order. A Google search away too and we saw the options online for Smith Brothers so we opted to wait the weeks out. Sandra informed us of when they were available for view and that very week we went to view them and fell in love as well. We placed our order for those as well. We loved how we could customize all of our furniture. Our table & chairs and sofas are custom made for us to our preference and we truly love that. Sandra was very helpful throughout the entire process too. We didn’t have our house just yet, just floor plans and she helped us select furniture that would fit our space. She also helped in selecting colors and styles that we were aiming for. Now our furniture just got delivered this past week and we are in love with each and every single piece!!! We will be returning to purchase a bedroom set in the future!

We stopped in for the first time today, and had a fantastic time! Sandra was incredibly sweet and inviting. She took her time to show us around, and explain everything, she really made us feel at home. The furniture selection is pretty great, of course they have more products off the floor in catalogs etc. We fell in love with the live edge Walnut table! Beautiful craftsmanship, and attention to detail. We will definitely be back!!

We really enjoyed our experience at Amish Craftsman. We worked with Stephanie Duque. We talked with Stephanie before our appointment and discussed our furniture goals as they related to the pieces we already had at home and some old pieces we needed to replace. We sent her pictures of the areas to be furnished, our floor plan and some inspiration pictures. On the day of our appointment Stephanie was ready! She had some pieces already selected customized to our home layout and colors and, as an architect, she was very knowledgeable about design and structure. We had about 2.5 hours with her and never felt rushed and they even gave my mom complementary, home made jelly! Compared to other furniture stores in Houston, one big one which will not be named, we felt very welcomed and there wasn't glaring political statements being made throughout the store (unlike the big one, that shall not be named). It was very professional, organized, and it's great that you can do so much customization without having a cookie cutter piece. On their website they say they take walk ins but they recommend that customers make an appointment. I agree with this recommendation, it will make your experience a lot more effective, efficient, and enjoyable. Highly recommend and platinum star for Stephanie Duque!! She is a very pleasant person, hard worker, and ensures her customers are satisfied. She'll even give you tips to SAVE $$$....who does that post COVID!!?
